I saw Grant Hill in the State High School tournament at the Robbins Center (U of R) back in the day. He played Alonzo Mournings team and there was alot of talent on the court. Mourning was just huge in person.

I moved to tampa three years ago and saw James wilder in person. He was a monster.

2. George Preas Two way lineman 1950 Jefferson HS Roanoke (later a Hokie and Colt)
3. Rick Upchurch o & d back . Perrysburg HS Perrysburg Ohio late1960's (Minnesota big 10, thenDenver Broncos)
I know , you never heard of any of them but these were the best I've ever seen.
