Game over. Nothing but good things to say about the guys keeping their heads in it as UNC-G made a run. All they did was lock down their D and get the boards in the final minutes.

Good start to the Coach Johnson career. Looking forward to seeing VT play some conference games.

Hey, that's a good gut check win. Hit a ton of FT's down the stretch. First 4-0 start since 2004-05. I honestly don't know when the last time VT started a season 5-0 occurred.

Loved having the home team make a run...get a lead and we clamp down on defense...hit foul shots...extend the lead and get the first road win for JJ......must say I'm impressed.....4-0...not too shabby......

Just back from game...nice turnout by the Gso hokies...this is maybe the best shooting team we have had in 25 yrs. Perimeter defense was bad, Raines was also getting frustrated - weren't dropping tonight. Eddie 28 pts on 9 shots...that is close to impossible. I like this team - need to continue to work post up game - loved seeing Eddie down there posting up. I would like to see Wood take it to the rack - guy is quick for a 4 and while he will be solid shooter down the road may not happen this year.
