Key is to limit our turnovers (only had 7 vs. Iowa!!!!), crash the glass, and limit the production of the other Cowboys players - if we can do that and keep our offense up, we have a chance to pull an upset today.

so pumped for the game! I read a few game previews and this is very winnable for the Hokies! Okie st. doesn't have much depth either and their Center is a game time decison, if he doesn't go, they are down to a 6 or 7 man rotation, we actually are more deep than they are. If we can get them in some foul trouble, we will have a great chance to win! If we win, we start 7-0 with a solid win over Iowa and a top 15 win over Okie st, we could crack the top 25 or at least come close! GOOOOOO HOKIES!!!!!!!!

Yep - ESPN has Smart rated as the number 1 point guard prospect for the 2013 NBA Draft class. He's going to be very tough to contain, and it'll be interesting to see how J.J. plans to play defense against him.

I'm really excited for this game today, Cassell should be loads of fun. Ok. State has four players averaging more than 10 points per game too - so they can certainly score. If we can get any of those four in foul trouble early though, it might be game-set-match Hokies. After those four the production really drops off and their rotation isn't necessarily deep.

For the first time since, probably the Duke Gameday game, there is a buzz around campus about this game. They handed out free tickets yesterday starting at noon, which they've done before every game and never once have come close to giving them all away, and they were gone in 20 minutes.

So will Green be guarding Smart? That will be fun. Gotta stay outa foul trouble. Still gonna keep my expectations in check. Would be ecstatic winning one of the next two. Love the hustle. Hopefully the students buy in. A large and in charge student section takes everything to the next level.

If Depth is their concern...we need to run, Run, Run. Dribble drive all day and get fouls...even if we get a few offensive fouls. Yes...this is winnable!
