I understand that Florida is still interested, as is UConn, and as someone stated on another thread, ODU cojuld still be in the mix.

If Cutler does get a bump after this season, and gets to 4 stars or close to it before signing day, I would be on the horn if I was Carson. I think he bolts with any decent offer, as long as the QB situation isnt like UVAs.

Committing so early screwed up his chances at lots of other places, who might have recruited him, or followed his season with interest, but not everyone is like Saban. Florida gives multi year scholarships, not a year at a time. I believe the whole SEC does, by league rule IIRC.

Just wonder if Florida put on the full court press, would dad still be 100% UVA

Not just directing this at you but at the board in general, and this is the latest comment I saw dealing with it so I felt the need to say something ...

The bashing and snide comments about Corwin Cutler has gotten beyond ridiculous. It needs to stop. The kid is, by any way you look at it, having a hell of a year. I understand why you would question in this particular case a UVA recruit being mentioned in the thread but the comments about him being 8th string or whatever, which statements of the like seem to be popular on the board nowadays, really need to stop. Recruits should never be bashed, just as players shouldn't. In this case, it does absolutely no one, especially Virginia Tech, any good to continually bash a player that is A. Eventually going to be facing Tech. B. Related to top prospects. And C. Close friends with top prospects.

This thread has discussed feats of players other than VT commits quite often. I know this because ive been one of the few people to take the time to do the legwork and post it here for everyone.
