3 definite wins (even though I hesitated to put @Duke in that category), 4 definite losses and 5 toss ups. Going by my thoughts on their chances of winning those toss ups, I see 5-7 for the Hoos, possibly 6-6. I really don't think they realize just how much worse their defense is going to be this year without Johnson, Conrath, Jenkins, Taliaferro, Minnifield, Mosley, McLeod and Joseph. That's their three best linemen from last year, a starting LB, both safeties (even though Mosley was an idiot), their top corner and their nickel man. I'm really questioning where they're going to get pressure on the QB from and who's going to cover opposing receivers. Any team with a competent QB is going to light their D up.

Their offense should be pretty decent, mainly because their line should be pretty darn good, but I don't know if they're good enough to win shootouts consistently.

Throw in tennis, baseball, rowing, swimming & diving.......Disgusting the plethora of successful sports programs they currently have at UVa. Basketball is even on the uptick over there. Silly Wahoos.

Damn guys.... he got us with that Rowing reference. I mean its not like our Soccer team didn't go to the Final Four a few years back, our Mens Track Team just win ACCs, our Softball team be good year in year out, Mens swimming got 2nd in ACCs this year. too bad we are THE WORST SCHOOL IN THE WHOLE ACC..... if only we had a rowing and lax team we could be bros like them.

btw congrats on those lax and rowing titles... how many schools have women's rowing teams? O only 6, congrats. What about mens lacrosse teams? O only 4 teams play lacrosse? Thats awesome. congrats on beating so many teams for your esteemed ACC titles.

One of your fellow hokies is organizing a "douchy" charitable event. I'm sure he is very appreciate of your post. I'd imagine that quite a few hokies would enjoy trips to the CWS, Lacrosse National Titles, a top tennis program etc.

I'm disappointed that not once has the Bass National Championship been mentioned as one of VPI's sporting accomplishments. Embrace your sports culture.
