  • I'll tell you'all something.....if Wake beats UVa this weekend there will be a thermonuclear event in Hooville....had to check out the board this weekend.....pretty much ready to rip one of London's ass cheeks off.....the koolaid is gettin sour up there.....meltdown be a comin.......stirrumorconfusedgrumbleupset

    You never know, but I see this as a two horse race with VT and WVU. WVU has the inside track IMHO, but Tech will be in it.

    going to be awesome if wake beats uva this weekend, if this happens uva almost certainly will be 2-10 at the end of the season. but of course they will still be on the rise.

  • UVA has more talent but Wake has a huge advantage on the sidelines, Grobe also have to feel slighted that UVA never went after him.

They can't make their minds up now between 2 qb's imagine what it will be like with 4. He said he sick of ml's comments after the losses. All he talks about is the institution and being mentor and the players being students.lol

    What else is he going to talk about? They are horrible and have regressed back to being talked about competing with Al's worst year...And all that "young" talent didn't RS and will still be young in the future.

    I wouldn't be at all surprised if Rocco (and maybe Watford) moves on after the season. Rocco is at a disadvantage being from outside of the state of Va Beach, do it'll be hard for him to get a fair shake.

  • UVA needs to hope with all their QBs that they can hold on to Lambert. I have always seen him as the best quarterback on that roster.

    You're missing about 3 other QB options, including two more from this year with Cutler and Brendan Marshall (Good Counsel).

    It's a friggin mess there.

    BTW - due to the fact that the boss burned all those shirts, they've only got two years left (after this season) with pretty much EVERYONE from their 2011 class.

    Go back and look at that class if you have some time. There's A LOT of talent there. Give all those guys to Grobe, and they would have been set up by the time they were 5th year SRs.

    Now - they're all wasted. Two more years of ish and they're gone.

    No question that they have the worst coach in the league up there.

Had he RS they would have a huge story to tell even if they would be terrible this year, they truly would have done was what best for their program rather than just what was best for London's pitch....and because of this I call total BS on him when he says he does what is best for his players, many of those kids have a shot at the NFL with an extra year. He does what is best for his recruiting at that moment.

    Grobe or TOB would be a great coach at UVA....Thankfully they are too smart to see what everyone else can clearly see. Same as Fedora at UNC, he will be way better at UNC than Butch ever would have been.

    Agree. He might as well address the University President by name when he makes those speeches, as he's clearly making a plea to keep his job.

    This is exactly right. He is full of crap and everything he does is a show with regards to football. The crying on the sidelines the same tired stories blah blah. I knew sooner or later the coaching and handling of players aspects of the game would catch up to him. He may still get Blanding and a few others but there are plenty of HS coaches that notice how he has screwed up his roster.

    My Dad has been saying for years he doesn't understand why UVA wouldn't bring TOB in. He was a big part of what worked for them in the past and would probably come back in a heartbeat. Plus he's supposedly a great guy.

  • Corwin, being from Va Beach and with ties to the 'Breds, will redshirt and then quickly move up the depth chart. London is over focused on recruiting the 757.

    London will begin redshirting after the 2013 season. I agree that redshirting from the get go would have been the best option. Grohs last two years recruiting classes were so putrid that it has forced CML to try and create playing depth with players that are very talented but also very young. Not ideal but no other choice.
