That was there offer to the NCAA...that number doesn't go on top of the NCAA rulings. It's not 15 plus the 5, jusst the 15.

Self imposed was 3 per year for 3 years, so that was 3 for 2012, and 15 more over next three years, 18 total. Thus far it has not been indicated if that is in addition to UNC self imposed penalties.

I thought they proposed a loss of 9 (could have been 5) scholarships. Either way, the NCAA bumped it up to 15..

if I am reading that correctly, 5 scholarships a year is nothing given what they have done......figured they would get off easy

UNC didn't monitor ANY of Butch Davis' phone calls for 4 years! Is the NCAA just going to let this one slide? He had 2 calls total on his school issued cell in 4 years.
My bet, once the judge makes Davis turn over his personal cell records, a new NOI will appear. The NCAA had enough right now to send another one though in that regard.

dont count on a judge doing anything. I don't think we will ever see those phone records. The press in NC doesn't seem too interested in following up and the NCAA is a bigger joke than I thought. Simply amazing we never heard anything about the 216 records.
