Best thing I have to say for you is that I have been through it, and I feel your pain. It gets easier, and if you are like me you get to smile randomly when the good memories emerge. I still have some pretty awesome dreams about adventuring with my dad. I feel great knowing that he really does live on in me in some capacity.
The sadness will fade...the pain gets easier...you see things a little differently but in time the great memories that you had with your dad will shine through and you do smile again....been there...done that....
