I wouldn't look for a team below the Mason-Dixon line to play a Friday Night ACC game in the foreseeable future. HS Football is sacred on Friday Nights from VA
Isn't most AAA playoff games on Saturday? A Friday night game at VT-east would help them get the AAA kids there.

By the time the HS post-season rolls around in mid-to-late November, it's really inconsequential. AA and A play Saturday playoff games at that point too. No offense, but even considering a Friday Night game (outside of Black Friday, of course) in Blacksburg would be embarrassing. One bad year in 20 doesn't mean VT should revert back to minor league gimmicks to put itself back in the spotlight.
