TOP 25 in Va for 2014

  • How many of the top 25 do we get? Any sleepers out there that may suprise? Out of the top 15 who do we get and if not, why do they not even consider VaTech? I will be in a meeting today at 12 so I will not be able to post on the discusion for CrZy.

  • Well here is my top 20 prospects based upon the 247 rankings....Before i show you the list out of state prospects i think tech will get includes Park, Cornwell, and a few more prospect.... Also the kids that werent on the Virginia rankings on 247 sports that i think will go to tech include the 4 western branch studs, McSorley, McMillian....Chris Frey a Ohio kid will probably go to VT if we give him a schlorship... He reminds me of Wingo-Reeves if we dont offer him....

    1.Hand-VT
    2.brown-uva
    3.blanding-uva
    4.henderson-big 10 somewhere
    5.Holmes-VT
    6.karmara-uva or unc
    7.Martinia-Notre Dame(already commited)
    8.Marshawn Williams-VT(he will probably stay)
    9.Nnadi-UVA(swing recuit VT or UVA) could go eitheir way
    10.Moss-VT
    11.Mihota-VT
    12.MJ Stewart-Maryland
    13.Walker-VT
    14.Reavis-VT(pretty much a lock)
    15.Burke-VT
    16.Lowe-VT(if we give him a schlorship)
    17.Speight-Michigan(already commited)
    18.Boone-VT(we need to give this kid a schlorship)
    19.Scott-WVU lock
    20.Thomas-WVU(probably will go their.... the vols are warmer on 247 but i think WVU get him)

    great observations hopefully those wahoo recruits will realize if you want to go to UVA you will be on a losing team

    yeah i didnt know much about stewart, with moss he has about a 30 percent chance to go to Tech and 70 percent the rest of his schools.... the 70 percent most of them are SEC schools... With Brown i mean he wont go to VT but i guess he could go to UVA or OOS... But thanks for the observation by the way Michael Herdon its a big LB who is a VT lock i forgot to mention...

  • Yea hokiefan I am intrigued with Michael Herndon but he seems like more of a LB for a 3-4 scheme as he definitely has the size. Probably be a weak side DE in Bud's system but I would like to get him on board.

    he is psyical, has a good football IQ, and is so underated... being psyical and having a good football IQ is what Bud Foster loves...
