Tongo, just got the official update. Dad's sends his best, and be on here when he can. Since the storms he has been working 16-19 hour days. Probably the worst situation prior to this was Hugo, and these storms did far more damage than Hugo. Not even close. So many states impacted that getting workers from other states has been challenging. AEP lost somehwere around 500 poles in WV. Plus, with storms several nights in a row, they kept taking 1 step forward and 2 back every night.
Little tip from dad for those without power, now or in the future. He said if have those solar patio or sidewalk lights, left them things charge up in the sun during the day, and then take them in at night to provide lighting throughout the house. Give off a lot more light than you might think.
