Living in Galax you would think I would have a ton of snow. But this time it completely missed us. Enjoy and be safe to whoever was hit!

I can tell no one in Richmond is working I have very few emails today. In VB it was in the 50s this AM, it's now 40 and the winds are starting to crank..which means this things if firing up more and more

Agreed 100%. HUGE BUST. Capital Weather Gang sucks just like the weathermen up here. All of them missed the boat.
A co-worker who follows weather said Capital Weather Gang were always money. They were way off as well. Makes sense....most of them are UVA grads.

Our power back on, but 2500+ in Rbg. co still out.
Land line phones now out?? go figure?
Reports of between 20-30 inches of snow in the Grottoes/Luray area, we ended with about 13.5 inches, it kept snowing but never amounted to much more than what we had.
Glad we did'nt get the 2-2.5 feet they did down the road only 20-30 miles.

Rough stuff. Brother in Delaplane had about a foot last I heard. His Wife had acl surgery Tuesday. Lost power yesterday, realized no gas for generator, was headed to get some. Rough week for my big brother.

A couple rays of sunshine for this thread. Daylight savings time begins Saturday night and Spring starts in less than two weeks. Happy day.
