I think the NCAA has shown they have no interest in really punishing UNC. If I understood 83 correctly, he stated on another board that further sanctions are likely forthcoming. I hope so, but after the paltry "punishment" the NCAA dealt UNC last time, I'll believe it when I see it.

The big difference is that after the daisy-cutter that the NCAA dropped on Penn State, they almost have to do the same with UNC. The national media has now caught on to the story. There's no sweeping it under the rug any more.
