Ran into this bad boy during lunch...

Went home for lunch and saw this thing chillen on the air conditioning unit outside. Needless to say it took a 3-wood to the face. It measured about 11.5 inches in length.

I drove that thing off my deck straight as an arrow. I usually have a gradual fade off the tee.

Richmond in the Carytown area off of Sheppard Street...That is the crazy thing about this. That thing should not be in a city.

I thought it was a gigantic a$$ wolf spider but they get no where near that large. I truly have no idea but it won't be procreating any time soon.

Dude you probably aimed towards my house with that 3 wood. If I find it near my house it will end up on your pillowcase somehow

It ended up in the back gravel parking lot behind my yard. It was dead as can be. The scary thing is that I crushed it and it was still relatively in one piece. I have never seen anything like it.

Surprised it didn't grab the 3 wood and beat the daylights out of you with it. What exactly kind of spider is that?
I'm a huge spider fan. My uncle used to shoot them in the house with a 22, and that's seems reasonable to me. I'd recommend at least a .308 on that bad boy
