Very impressive. Gotta love all three of these guys attitude and their commitment to the program. Frank looked about 10 years younger today. A new era of VT football started today Hokies.
Gimes - Very business like. Commenting that his job was "to make these guys the toughest Oline in the ACC".
Loeffler- You can tell that he takes this job serious. He is obviously very excited to work with Logan,and wants to win. Great fit for VT
Moorehead- LOVE the energy already. Hes going to be demanding and thats what we need with these young guys
When asked about Pep Hamilton and if he was offered "I think whats important is the fact we got the right guys hired". Frank is really happy with these guys. Also commented on the youth movement and how much "taller" the coaching staff is with the new hires. Grimes still looks like he could play.

Indeed. Extremely impressive group... a conspicuous absence of folksy talk. These guys are all business and I love that each one expects his group to be the hardest working on the team. If our offense can get to a point where it is physically challenging our D and stealing some of their spotlight, watch out folks.

Glad to hear.....put these fellas to work and start hauling in the 2014 recruits.......can't wait for the Spring Game.....I think we can pretty much fill Lane....everybody wants to see what is in store.......very hopeful.....

Yup im feeling really good about the future of Football at Virginia Tech.. Love the new hire sounds like the O is going to pushing back at the Defense now.. Which will only make the Defense better. Can't wait till the spring game.

The amount of due diligence that CFB did in looking at first and foremost Loeffler is impressive. He spoke with Saban, both Harbaugh brothers, Pete Carroll, Muschchamp, Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, DeAzzazio, Lloyd Carr, Jim Tressel, and on and on. Like the attitude of all three.
CFB was receptive to two things in the presser:
1) it is Loeffler's offense
2) the staff will incorporate potential new ways to recruiting based on the new staff members qualities.

For the first time in the last few years I am excited and optimistic about VT football. Not expecting to go undefeated next year, just looking forward to seeing some progress with regards to the offense. Loved Grimes comment about the o-line being the "tip of the spear" and building the "toughest line in the ACC". Also liked Moorehead's back and forth with Exum. CZY, how are the players responding to the coaching changes? Based on initial reactions it seems to have re-energized the team a little.

Great info. Really have to hand it to Frank. Cutting ties with long-term friends Mike O'Cain, Curt Newsome and Kevin Sherman while removing Bryan Stinespring as offensive coordinator had to be extremely difficult for him. But he saw what had to be done, stepped outside his comfort zone, got as much input as he could from people outside the program that he trusts, and came away with three great hires that have brought new excitement to VT football.
