Reason # 3,124 that hopefully we hear something on the coaching situation soon, as we won't find out about Logan until that happens.

Okay I really don't understand why Leal would transfer at this point. Unless something borderline insane happens he will be the starter as a rSr, and he will probably end up playing some next year in the event of a blowout or a LT injury. And this is at Virginia Tech, which despite this year is a very good program. If he transfers he either needs to drop down to DII or sit the year out anyway.

Yeah, but VT is bringing in a Top 100 recruit at QB who will be redshirting next year and may push for playing time. I'm not saying Bucky could beat out Leal, but there could be some perceived pressure there.

Yep. Leal would be the likely starter in 2014 with a team that should be good to very good. In addition,he would get to lead the team against Ohio State in Columbus.

I think it is strictkly based on Logan. Leal has 3 years in the system and people rave about him. If Logan leaves, 100% chance leal is the starter. If Logan stays, 99.99% chance Leal is the starter next year.

Not if he has graduated. I'm not sure when he is set to graduate but once he has, he can transfer without sitting out a season.

Hate to issue forth a lamentation but I feel for Leal . If our O team had been anywhere near as competent as it should have been he would have logged a lot more time on the field imo. I still believe he will stay and I believe he will see more time this next season and start after that.

Yeah. I suppose Leal might have felt quite confident about 5 months ago that Logan would be entering the draft early also....

Correct but he has to transfer to a course of study that VT doesn't offer.
