No.....let me explain how you failed. How do you propose Sims gets a hardship? Hurt feelings won't cut it. So that means he sits a year. Rocco starts again, hence, he's a TWO year starter. Sims ain't coming unless Mikey promises him the moon but.....but.....Lambert's been promised the moon. So who get's it? Maybe Sims now? Lambert a couple years down the road? Perhaps, but......

What about Watford? I don't buy your BS for one second that Watford wasn't promised early PT. I know enough folks that would know to ever believe that garbage. BTW....I know you Hoo's are new to this whole football thing --especially recruiting-- but you'll soon find out that Mike Smith has A LOT of pull on the Peninsula and he can be a bit temperamental. Good luck with your plans! LOL.

Oh and Cutler.... Where's he going to fit in? Chip and Mikey going to pull the offer now? That will sit well at Ocean Lakes. LOL.

I call bullsh*t as well webbi. It was glaringly apparent that London was forcing Lazor to use Watford....so much so, I still remember a post game press conference where Lazor was asked about the "2 QB" system. Lazor sorta gritted his teeth and said, "that's the plan we're goin with..." There were several situations where Rocco was having success, and then Watford trots out for the next series with the ball first and ten from your own one yard line. London has his fair share of head scratchers IMO. Same with Dominique Terrell. The dude was definitely not ready to play and it showed.

At some point ML's gonna have to make less promises and be more truthful with recruits.

Well said. As a hokie I wanted Watford last year because I think he could be a good player. The only reason he played last year was because London told him he wouldn't redshirt to get him to commit. London is doing everything he can to recruit the 757 and making a lot of promises to these kids and coaches. It's a slippery slope when you recruit like this and if he's not careful it could backfire. Being around many coaches in this area I can tell you that many have huge egos. One last thing Sims is a good kid and I wish he would have stayed in state but no need to bash him. There is more than just ability at play in that QB battle imo.

Agree that opportunities were promised to Watford and opportunities were given to perform...so I think London held up his end of the bargain.

Sims has informed Bama he is gone. If hardship is granted and Sims / UVa is the resolution, someones feelings are going to be hurt because he would start 9/1/12
