now you are just trolling, by any discernible measurement jordan > kobe.

rings, ppg, shooting %, d stats, assists, advanced stats ... all say jordan. plus for 3 of kobe's rings he was the team's 2nd best player.

the best part is, if jordan in his prime played in the 00's version of the nba where handchecking were not allowed he very easily could have averged 40pts a game. he was stronger, with a far superior first step and he never quit in crunch time (kobe can't live the suns series down.) i will grant kobe has better footwork and takes more difficult shots (last few years anyway), but that is because he has too, since he wasn't able to get his shot off like jordan was a similar point. mj used his size, smarts and strength to his advantage when with the wiz.

most importantly he would cut you, your mom and his mom to win, while close, i don't think kobe is quite to that standard either.

do you know how much it pains me to type this, i disliked the bulls and him so much when i was h.s. and college, but when you're the best ..

chamberlain knew how to get stats .. not rings. he drops down because of that.

Jordan played in a more physical era but no where near as talented. If the two were in their prime I believe Kobe is the better player hands down. Kobe was the best all around player for all their championships, Shaq was just too big and srong inside to not feed him the ball. Jordan always had Pippen he doesn't win without him jmo. Kobe is also the best closer in the game. And no I'm not trolling just thought it would be interesting. Jordan with the Wizards was just him padding stats and was sad to watch.

    Jordan

    then:
    Pick your order from:
    Wilt
    Russell
    Bird
    Magic
    Kareem

Kobe? 1 MVP = please, he's in the next group, but not in the group above

If he had the "it" factor and the killer instinct that Jordan, Bird, Magic, Kobe all have/had then, in my opinion, he would easily be the greatest player to ever play up to this point. His size, skill, and athleticism is insane. Such a shame he doesn't have it all yet. Hope he does eventually.
    Oh and Jordan is #1

lebron is the best pure athlete the nba has ever seen .. skill, desire and leadership hold him back.

Skill isn't an issue with LeBron, it's his decision making late in games at times, if he could play like he did against Chicago & Boston last year in the Playoffs then no one would question him...

really? have you seen his footwork in the post or how often he fades away for no reason on jump shots? i disagree with that on offense for sure. he gets by being a far superior athlete.

Yes, I've seen just about every game LeBron has played since his days at SVSM.. He has all the skills post and perimeter but relies on his strength and forces unnecessary shots at times. When he 100% focused, the guy is unguardable but he is rarely that focused.

  • i don't agree at all with his footwork in the post, it's below avg at best, not many in the nba are above avg. different game, but if wanted to, he could score at will down there. he should watch kobe and jordan videos on how wings score down there.
