Will be in jail for life just on mandatory minimums. Glad that justice has been/will be served.

I hope they now go after the folks who were part of the cover up.......this guy should have been put away a long time ago.........

I saw interviews with several of the jurors this morning, and at least two were PSU students or alum. They all had no problem coming up with a guilty verdict; however, all three were noticeably disturbed that it was allowed to continue, and as many people were aware of what was going on, none of them took the steps necessary to stop it. They appeared very perplexed that no one stepped up.

Civil suits against the state are going to be the next chapter in this. IMO - I feel strongly that all coaches on the Penn State roster should resign so that the school can start fresh. As long as there is a connection to the events that occurred and those who were present - but didn't stop the abuse - it'll always be a cloud that hangs over that program.
I realize that the coaches don't share in the guilt, however, the fact that this continued for so long without anyone doing anything is extremely troubling and casts - for me - a cloud of suspicion over their entire staff. I realize that's probably not fair, but it's just something that I find troubling.

I agree EnterNight.....I would probably take it another step with the coaches and admin and possibly the pSu police......Given McQueery's (sp) testimony, it is clear that at least 2 other coaches, members of the pSu police, and members of the AD knew for sure based on his eye witness account.....this would be a starting point for a criminal investigation......my bet is that the folks at pSu dont' have the stomach for more trials......which is bs.....there may be some civil suits but I would bet most of those get settled very quietly which has been the problem all along.....too many folks keeping quiet while innocent children suffer.....

What's the over/under on his death clock? Dude ain't going to make it if he's in genpop. Better hope for isolation.
