If you've opened this - then let me tell you why I've posted this here. This is a recruiting board, yes, but we're also a little bit of a community. I don't know Smittyutter example, but when I meet him (one day) I feel like I owe him a beer and a thank you. When people have been dealing with loss, this board prays together and we celebrate together too. Not to sound cheesy, but I hope you get my point.

Anyhow - that's why I'm posting this link. It's a reminder of the violence that occurs all around us and the devaluation it places on human life. From the Colorado shooter to the VT gunman, the Norwegian psychopath to the men, women and kids that still don't get the magnitude of the events at Penn State - it seems like we are seeing more and more of these events... This article is about how we got here and what's likely to come.

I feel smarter and wiser after having read this and - maybe you'll have the same reaction - don't know, but I thought I'd pass it along.

There's a particular quote from Orsen Wells that is very prophetic, I think. A very accurate depiction of our society today.
