Lets help send the State Champion Christiansburg 9/10 All Stars

Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Christiansburg 9/10 AAA Dixie All Stars won the Virginia State Tournament yesterday in dramatic fashion. Proud papa and all around great Hokie, Hillcrest Hokie's son had the game winning hit below to earn them the trip to Florida. As Hillcrest has been a great help to this site and the HokieNation in general over the years, CZY and I want to help fund raise for the boys and watch them represent the State of Virginia the best way possible. Please see the link below and we will try to set some sort of goal or meter to track donations. Anything you can do to chip in will be appreciated! Thanks and go win Nationals boys!!!

Tournament is in Bartow, Florida. I will have something up tomorrow for fundraiser....most are sleep deprived from last night, and have never set something up like this before. Thanks for the positive support from everyone

Shout out to my homeboys in Carroll County too. Carroll County’s 15-17 year-old all-star baseball team punched its ticket to Guntersville, Alabama on July 11 with a dramatic 8-7 win over Halifax County in the state championship game in South Boston. They play their first Dixie Pre-Majors World Series game tomorrow.

The Christiansburg All- Stars/2012 Dixie AAA State Champs will be fundraising Today from 1 pm- 4 pm at Kroger & Walmart in CBURG and at Kroger on Main St. in Bburg. Money raised will help cover the cost to the Dixie World Series in Bartow, Fl Aug 3-9, where these young players will represent Virginia!

Quick update: team Virginia is 1-1 after losing Saturday to north Carolina...but beating Tennessee with a walk off grand salami today! We live to play another day vs Alabama on Monday at 6pm!!!
