Seth did a lot for VT basketball actually. It is time for a change, but we should all be thankful. We actually competed in the ACC with him as coach, thats an acheivement.

I agree also. Seth did a lot of great things at VT. I never thought we would beat Duke or UNC and we did. Seems like it was time for a change but I'm not jumping up and down about this news. I hope they have some good replacements in mind. Not a guy who just got fired from Duquense I hope.

i agree with what he's saying, but my problem with him sounding off is simple: jeff allen committed to play for seth and exhausted his eligibility for him. that'd be like once logan (or whoever) graduates, the next year saying beamer should've been fired a long time ago. are you kidding me?

it doesn't come off well...that is for sure.
but looks like JT had similar feelings...we hear the same from other players.
if you, me, the media, and everyone else can chime in and say what they want, then why can't former players...they would know best.
i get the general point...it is always best to keep your mouth shut, be respectful....but i know personally I say out of line stuff....makes sense people more connected would too.
on the other hand Delaney made a solid statement about never talking bad about any coach or player, etc.
not like Allen didn't have issues on his own, unrelated to SG

I was walking behind Jeff Allen in the Owens' parking lot once and he looked to be eating his lunch on the way to class. He finished a cup of yogurt, put the spoon in the yogurt cup and just tossed it over his shoulder casually, like there was a giant trash can behind him at all times.

Yeah, he is not someone I would pay much attention to when it comes to bashing Seth. JA was about as lazy as they come. He didn't like Seth's practices because of that.

Dude is killing it in Finland. He was utilized so poorly during his time at VT.
Seth's everyone get out of the way and get Malcolm the ball at all costs did not go over well with a lot of the players.
