Out of the 3 listed, give me Steve Prohm in a landslide.

Harrell would flourish in Calipari's up tempo game.

Harrell is gone; we might as well get used to it. I'd rather see him at Kentucky than at NCSU.

If Blaine Taylor is named the new coach, expect the same slow offense. He is Seth Jr.

If/when Montrezl is released from his LOI, maybe it should be stipulated that he can't go to a ACC school? Is that an option?

I would tend to agree. I don't think that would be a very smart hire, given what we've just gone through with Greenberg. I certainly want to hire someone who is intense and competitive, but at the same time I want that person to understand how important it is to be respectful to, and considerate of, those around him.

I really hope there's something to the Steve Alford rumors. I think he would be a fantastic hire.

One good thing about Steve Prohm is that he turned down Mississippi State and was their first choice. So if we were able to get him, that would say something about our stature. I know Miss St. isn't the greatest gig, but they're an upper half SEC team and some might argue VT is a lower half ACC team, especially with Pitt and Cuse coming in. I for one, certainly believe we're a more attractive option that Miss St, and this would reflect that.

I think if we can get someone better than Prohm, great. If we can get Prohm great. And if we can't get Prohm, but then we can get JJ, great. Anything else, like Blaine Taylor or Steve Robinson may be kinda disappointing. I'm not saying they couldn't get the job done. But if we're talking a new direction of Hokie hoops, let's make this hire represent that.

Im not nearly as big on Prohm as others are. He's never coached in a major conference, not even as an assistant. He's only been an HC for one year

Give me Prohm out of those 3. Lets see what he can do.
