I guess any publicity is good publicity?
I went on to sign up for my fantasy league this morning and there was a huge pic of the foot/claw/talon/whatever.

LT just tweeted "our whiteout helmets are so ugly" lol. I usually like most of our alternate unis and helmets but these are just about the worst I've ever seen from any team.
Have they ever thought of doing mini hokie tracks as helmet stickers? It would look a lot better at that smaller scale with the regular VT logo.

I'm guessing that since proceeds for the white out game to go Herma's Readers, the design was for younger kids. At least that's the only reason I can see anyone signing off on this design.

Did our people ask anyone (outside of a small circle) what they thought? There is no way that more than 15 people looked at this design and loved it
