Really proud of the D. Great game...but damm Marcus Davis should not be in mix. I respect him but he really hurt us tonight.

The 3rd down call on our final scoring drive was ridiculous and it's such a Beamer thing to do. Not running the clock down to the fullest, such a Beamer thing to do. This offense is a freaking disasterous trainwreck and I hope it's completely disbanded. I don't see how Davis can carry the ball so loosely as a 5th year senior, has Sherman tried to teach him otherwise?
Positives from tonight, defense played their asses off. Painter held is own against Warner. JC isa good reciever if we throw the ball TO him.

Considering Tech isn't playing for a whole lot at this point in the year, why not call a more aggressive play on 3 and 3 inside the 10 instead of calling a Logan run which everyone knew was coming

Another display of our incompetent O staff. Play calling stunk all night, predictable as always, conservative playing for field goals. Let's face it...we do not have an offense just 10ish random plays called over and over again.
This O staff couldn't even coach at the hs level...all they do is take their fat paychecks to the bank and Frank is just fine with that. Frank doesn't deserve to win another game with this retirement, boy's club staff. I have no hope that Frank will actually fix anything in the off season...just play musical chairs with the current staff. Joe Pa here we come.

best game the team has played all year, and that includes the wins....defense played really well, got after the quarterback like I have not seen all year.....same issues on offense, lazy plays by seniors...lackadaisical attitudes....bad time management....bad special teams....logan plays like a hero and a zero in no time flat....so frustrating...maybe a bowl game....maybe.
The Hokies reclaimed the Commonwealth Cup on Nov. 27, 2004. Kendall Fuller was 8 years old.
