Thank god, I was drinking with 2 of the pilots last year at TOTs after the Duke game and flyover and I had to pull out all my moves so my girlfriend didn't go home with one of the guys. How are us normal joes supposed to compete with them.
I thought I read that our flyovers were part of actual military practice flights or something, so they don't generate an additional cost??
I think you are right, BUT, I believe there is some talk of threatening to cut the number of TRAINING flights; hence, no flyovers (that's the explanation I have heard anyway).,
Sitting in my office in my flight suit, not flying today, we have little to no training sorties as of this morning, gonna get interesting around here when we lose our currencies. As aviators we have to log a certain number of items to remain current, so we don't have to fly with instructors, but when instructors can't keep their currencies then it becomes a bigger issue.
