David Wright gives a shout out to VT at WBC

They were interviewing him after they game and he was taking about his relationship with Sargent Perez. Said the Sargent was a big Miami fan and he was a huge VT fan.

Regardless he is a big Hokie football fan. Would be nice for VT to try and get him to as many games as he wants. Just looks good to have big name athletes around the program.

Someone needs to send him a VT care package full of gear. Thats how you get publicity. We suck when it comes to playing that game.
Maybe even go as far as putting the mets logo on a vt hat similar to the new era yankee vt hat.

He's got plenty of VT gear. Like the poster above me said his brother is a hokie. He has been interviewed on the sidelines of VT football games before and has been to Lane many times. He doesn't shy away from rooting for VT.

His sister and brother both went to Tech. He is truly a Hokie fan and also a real gentleman.
Just signed a whopper of a contract and is currently playing ball in my home town. Mets are ok by me. They bring a lot of revenue to this city.
