This kind of negative commentary always surfaces after the first loss of the year.
Last few post have been saying if you have young guys that can contribute and are hungry, put em on the field. That is most positive comments I've seen on the board since the game.
Anyone tailgating? Would like to meet some true Hokie fans on here.

I am going, and will continue to support the team for many reasons. I am a Hokie, and will support my team. I don't want to give up on these kids just because of one day of mental slippage. It happens to us all, and it happened to them. I also feel life is not about how many times you stand on top, but about how many times you pick yourself up off the mat after being knocked down. While the "goal" of a NC is out the window, I really didn't think that was realistic this season, and all other goals are still on the table, plus one more. Showing how you respond from adversity. I think you see the most from a person/team/coach from how they respond to events like this, and enjoyed seasons like 2007 and 2010 when we were knocked to the mat early and came back. Finally, football games are supposed to be enjoyable, not high stress knuckle wringing about the lives of 18-23 year old kids, and it is fun to go to Blacksburg, tailgate, and see the beauty that I went to college at....
