area of concern pre-spring for next season. Mine is the RBs and who will emerge. I would say OL, but think Grimes will begin to have positive impact on those guys fairly quickly.
Obviously the OL is the top priority, as the entire offense hinges on the success of the OL. That goes for every football team. But besides that, I'm most worried about seeing if last year was a fluke for Logan and he can get it back together this year.
Did you hear Hoo got arrested? Thomas Jefferson would be proud!
#1: OL - it all starts there.
#2: LT - Can he hit the broad side of the barn? Can he read defenses? Last year's regression has me questioning his ability to
perform to the level needed for an effective O.
#3: RB rotation - last years revolving door at RB has me concerned that this is going to be Shane's pattern like it was Hite's.
Oline, then Oline and lastly, Oline. No worries on defense....the RB's will get the yardage as long as the Oline comes through....would love to see the WR's run crisper routes and block consistently. But again, the success of the WR and the passing game is dependent upon our run game being up to par (for play action to work) which....all goes back to the Oline.
So if you're wondering about my biggest concern....it's the Oline.
x a gazillion. I honestly feel good about the starting 5 that will end up on the field, even though I don't know exactly who that will be. The big issue is depth. We can't lose anybody between now and 8-31-13. Depth is a huge issue on the OL.

It will take a lot more than a positive impact imo. My major concern is the O Line.
The Qb has to be decisive and accurate. Thatwill be the biggest thing for this offense imo. I think they will rin the ball decent and LT will have time. Will he complete enough passes or will he overthrow recievers.
My biggest per spring concern is making sure I have enough shine and BBQ to tailgate with. Coaches coach players play and I consume!
Shine?????? I'm hanging with you.
OL, far and away. Without significantly better OL play next year is unlikely to be much better than this year.
Not sure how anyone's answer could be anything other than OL. Bottom line...if we had a good OL, LT would be fine, WR and TE would be fine. No worries at all on Defense. Bud will figure it out. I think Kendall starts game 1 vs. BAMA. I would def rather have Kendall out there than Manning. JMO
I might know a guy that knows a guy if you know what I mean
#2...If your QB is not "on" , then your Offense is not going be good. LT had alot of issues last year with his passing, I hope the New OC/QB coach gets this fixed. That is my biggest concern But #3 is next, Shane Needs to let the New OC over-see Who's the Best ...Time VT gets away from this "favorite" Player Crap. That was a big thing on the OL selection. I bet Grimes puts the Best on the Field, watch and see.
1.OT's(Conte, and Shuman may start it seems scary to me)
2.RB(Very talented and young)
3.WR's(not including DJ Coles this group is very young)
4. 2nd Cornerback-Donaldvan Manning will most likely start until Exum is back maybe even after, Kendall Fuller will probably burn his redshirt , and Donovan Riley a true freshman last year got playing time and had an interception versus FSU.
1. All of the Defense besides Exums spot
2. Linebacker doesnt look bad to me despite Taylor, Tweedy leaving.
3. Special Teams- all specialists returning Hughes, Journell, German, All primary returner JC Colman, Jarrett, Knowles, and Etc. Tweedy is a big loss though.
4.Logan Thomas/QB with an offensive line like he had his sophmore year anything could happen.
5. Pretty much All Interrior-Lineman returning with talent but were undercoached by Newsome.... Via may not return it is rumored on here that he may of gotten a 6th year

Via was never coming back. That was reported and was a mistake.
