I wouldn't be surprised at all if its the same guy. I know he does lots of film review for many college coaches.
And, he doesn't mind free PR.
His name is Demetric Warren, @DemetricDWarren, and he several irons in the fire.
His new website
Yes!!! That is him!! I have gotten a few calls from him. Wow!! Small world......
I just tried to read the Article, but the site said that it was no longer available. I'm sure he has a tremendous story to tell. Hopefully we can link up when we get there.
The link works for me but I linked another for you
Kyshoen Jarrett knows that there are more important things in life, everyday things. Kyshoen has shouldered a much heavier load than perhaps any other college football player in the country.
I think I know who will be the Smitbits Poster of the week...
as the parent of two kids in college, i know these are exciting (and stressful) times. financial assistance, quality of education, distance from home, etc. were all factors for us when our kids were figuring things out.
thanks for sharing your experiences with us. good luck in the process and i hope Aaron gets the offer.
DHG, Welcome to the board! I have read all of your post and will be a fan of your son and your family no matter the school he chooses to attend.
Congratulations to you and Aaron for him earning the opportunity to a free great education! Prayers to your family for continued strength. I hope you are able to read the article linked to K Jarrett, I found it moving and I don't have the same connection you will have.
Jarret story is extremely moving. It reminds me so much of Aaron and his older brother Isaiah. Yes!! Suffering will can teach us a lot about not taking thing for granted. I really hope to meet them.
Thank you for the gracious welcome!! And yes I have read the link. I believe God is producing young men who possess more than just talent on the field. These young men have a story to tell. There is substatance in their up bringing. The day of the athletic thug is over. Programs need more young men with a story behind the glory. Young men with character and integrity, Giftedly Athletic, but spiritually and morally grounded. Someone who won't embarrass the school, coaches or his teammates. This Jarrett young man seems to fit the bill amongst many of the other athletes on the team. I really cannot wait to meet him.
This guy really gets what the game and program we all love is about. What a great addition to the board.
