-Schlabach says Tech may not win 9 or 10 games, cites offense
-Blackledge says with returning starters on D, Beamer should go more aggressive on punt blocks
-Consensus is VT has a tougher schedule, mention @UNC, FSU, Cincy, and Pitt
-Herbstreit disagrees somewhat says has anyone consistently gone into Lane and won
-Palmer likes continuity on coaching staff, same coaches for past five years.
-Don't like losing four starters on offensive lineman and had a few clips of Holmes in practice. Said he's a player to watch for. Don't mention JC Coleman.
-Palmer says losing Boykin and Coale hurts, but lots of athleticism coming back (referring to Marcus Davis)
-Said Foster looking to be much more aggressive with eight players he can rotate on the defensive line. Says injuries last year helped get people reps.
I know ESPN's CFB coverage is at times pretty abysmal, but good points made. Palmer was flat out wrong on the same staff being here for five years (Cav and Hite gone) and didn't mention Coleman at all.
I like that the media isn't touting Tech as a top-10 team. Usually in those years Tech falls flat on their face.

Thanks for the recap! I thought the segment went off pretty positive on the whole.

Not to worried about what others think.. I think we have a really good team..
Agreed, main issue is offensive line. Reminds me of 2008.
Don't forget to mention that they said we should be scared of Mike London since he "took over the tidewater region".
Did he see those 4 offensive lineman that we lost play last year? OL play will not be good this year, but that won't be a material difference from last year.
Heres the link.
I liked Reece Davis`s response to an opposing fan that tweeted that VT can not get over the hump. Paraphrasing he said,"I don`t know which team you follow, but you have been looking at Virginia Tech`s rear end in recent years".
That idiot Schlabach somehow crow-barred Mike London into the discussion. I like most of the guys in that room, but this guy. Desmond is teetering as the seasons go on as well.
I think we are better of than 2008. That year we had frosh all over the line, plus guys like marshman who just weren't up to snuff.
Not quite what they said. They said that he had gotten a "FOOTHOLD" not had taken over tidewater.
True, but lots of question marks all along there. Could be looking a lot of Logan running for his life. The group last year (mostly seniors) didn't exactly shine on the big stage either.
