I’ve been a loan officer for the past 14 years, and I’ve seen many changes in the industry. I’ve been a broker. I’ve worked for both large and small companies, and my diverse experiences make me the best option for my clients and the realtors who refer me.
In my time as a broker and with a large company, I learned the requirements for different lenders and how to navigate and negotiate with the big lenders.
Working for smaller companies taught me to prospect for my own business and how to take care of both my clients and referral partners. All my marketing today is by referral, and I’ll always take the time to meet with your referrals and take excellent care of them.
I’ve worked with a variety of clients: congressmen, CEOs of large companies, employees of the CIA and other government agencies. I’ve even worked with a few Washington Capitals players and a couple of Redskins.
What does this mean for you? It means I have the skills and experience to find you the best rate and make certain your loan process goes smoothly. If you are a realtor, I have a track record of being able to deliver and close on time.

Chris, from the way things are looking, you should get a lot of new loan business after some of these posters burn down their houses in protest...Creative business man, you are...
Is Chris a VT alum?
Did you hear Hoo got arrested? Thomas Jefferson would be proud!
Sorry for the delay in responding to this. I had caught whatever CZY had and then was out of town last week.
I am not a VT alum. I refer to myself as a "Hokie Husband". My wife graduated in 1996 and played soccer for VT. I attended Mary Washington.
Good enough for me. I will keep you in mind when I go to buy.
You say you get all your new business by referral and yet you're advertising on a website. Hmm. I'd say that statement's not entirely accurate.

The above post was copied from my profile. I should have edited a little. Outside of any fund raiser(my kids school or golf tournament) I have not done any advertising. I saw the post last month about sponsoring for a month and thought I would give it a shot. I have a good team in place working with me and would not mind growing a little. I would like to invite anyone who has a mortgage related question to email me. Considered me a resource.
I do not post much but read and follow every day. I saw the unedited post from last night as well. I can understand one's frustration with the mortgage process. We have gone from requiring a heartbeat to be approved to asking for everything in the world and then more. It is not easy to meet all of the requirements required in underwriting these days.
