Yea, you guys are going to get pounded like a bottom bunk on a moonless night.
I'm hoping for a few inches in Roanoke. That would be enough to get me off work tomorrow.
Isn't it like 8-12 inches? pffft.... thats nothing

That's not what she said.....
We normally only get a dusting everytime the media hypes a big storm. Its sunny and beautiful here now...hope it lasts...
Yeah I'm skeptical. I think the grocery stores are in cahoots with the weather people to make more money.
With that said, I'm hoping the people who are saying 15+ are right.
The Capital Weather Gang and NOAA are on top of their game. March weather can turn quickly. It may be in the high 40's now but the termperature can drop quickly.
The most snow is supposed to come between 3am and 3pm tomorrow.
I say bring it. We need a good snow storm.
So right now we have about 2" in Central VA. Wet and slushy.
Screw snow - it's time for spring. I'm ready for warm weather.
About 2 inches in Bluefield. Not much more expected.
I'll take "sentences that sound dirty but are not" for $800, Alex.
Well...I said it wouldn't do diddly squat in Richmond. BUT it did enough in Innsbrook to get me out of work (after I drove to work) and now.. snowday funday!!!!
Time to do a little drinky drinky
lBest day of my life

Finally picking up steam here in Gaithersburg, MD. Working from home and the snow is finally starting to stick to the driveway, but roads were all treated yesterday and will take a lot more to cover them. Still expecting 8-12 here at least according to the weather reports.
In Manassas we have about 4-5 inches.
Picked up a new bottle of Wild Turkey just to comfort me over the next 5 days!

12 inches in Fairfield VA, we had 4 inches at 11:30 last night. It started right off snowing about 6:30 yesterday and started to lay after about an hour or so. Calling for 3-5 inches more here today.

Yeah, our weathermen here in Richmond are not the best. They are right about 10% of the time though.
Supposed to get rain today and maybe an inch tonight. I am downtown and it is a white out. We have 2 or 3 inches now and office is getting ready to close at 11:00. Hope it lest us soon, I have to drive to Carolina tomorrow.
Great picture. If you get time, post another or two. I'm glad to just be an observer for this one.
Their predictions for DC were a HUGE bust. They said 8-10 inches last night at 11 pm and DC has barely an inch if that. Wish I could be that horrible at my job and keep it......
our power just went out and I can't send any from my little net book, now we have about 13.5 inches & still snowing hard.
Damn, that be sucking. Hope they get your power back soon.
Living in Galax you would think I would have a ton of snow. But this time it completely missed us. Enjoy and be safe to whoever was hit!
