Does Greg Swaim know anything? His latest tweets indicate that the Big 12 is ready and there are some ACC teams ready too? Looking for hits or does this have merit?
Interesting... here's an article I saw earlier today that I kind of blew off as just more typical conference realignment BS rumors. Maybe things are heating back up.
Not much but he could get lucky this time. He and "The Dude" throw crap out there every few days so something is bound to stick sooner or later. He probably heard about the upcoming Big 12 BOD meeting where I'm told expansion will be heavily discussed. FSU, Clemson and Miami are on the topic list. As I've posted several times in the past FSU has an open invitation and Clemson has one IF FSU comes along with them. Miami has actually reached out to the Big 12 in the past couple of weeks after having discussions with FSU I'm told. I posted about the Big 12 BOD meeting and that heavy expansion discussions would be taking place on twitter a couple of days ago. I'm hearing that the Big 12 will discuss the three teams and 1 more to even the numbers. Miami has not been offered by the Big 12 but that could change at/after the meeting. I'm told Bowlsby has 3 other ACC teams to bring up in the discussion as well that he has spoken with recently but my sources say that Bowlsby hasn't told anyone who they are yet. Now you know everything that I do. Once the meeting starts on January 28, I will let you know what I hear.

Don't put much stock in this. It's "The Dude" pretending he is a reporter!
I personally do not see anyone in the ACC doing anything before the Maryland situation is decided. But since big money is involved, you never know.
If UNC goes SEC, does Duke really go over VT? Would the SEC really take Duke as a second school from North Carolina, but not take FSU as a second school from Florida? Makes no sense in a football driven conference.
Thanks for the update, Ranger.
I don't see it... that dude just has a beef with VT.
LOL, I am not a gambler but I would bet against that happening.
