So, I will not be attending the game this weekend because of my buddy's wedding. The wedding will be at 2 o'clock.
Since the game will be on WatchESPN I will have the capability of streaming it live on my phone during the wedding.
The question fellas is, have any of you pulled off a stunt like this before? Or, would this be a suicide mission from the start if I tried?

what does your buddy expect when he scheduled his wedding during football season?
Who is going to know put the phone in your program and sit in the back at the end of the bench... Just don't yell and scream when we score a TD that would just be akward.
With a little pre gaming for the wedding that might not be so easy to avoid hah.
Especially after the 7th or 8th time.
I had a radio playing into an ear bud throughout my cousins wedding a few years ago. Had the vt/gt game playing back when Calvin Johnson raped us. A few people knew I had and would stop by for game updates every few minutes.
skipped a ceremony last year to get drunk and watch the UVA-VT game in a hotel room. Went to the reception after but they were both Hokies, they should've known better.
Put your phone on mute and go for it.
I just got married last week to the best hokie girl ever. From day one we both made sure our wedding would not interfere with football season. We finally just got married in the courthouse on the 29th of August. We topped off our honeymoon in Gatlinburg TN by making sure we were back for the GT game. We plan on doing the same next year for our anniversary. Make a trip down south for a week and then stop off in the ATL for the BAMA game. She went to every home game with me last year and we plan on doing the same this year. She about leaped over section 503 in the SE Monday night in the fourth quarter. Here she is.
You can start being jealous now.
You're good unless your girl is sitting next to you. She'll flip.
About 20 of us live-tweeted play-by-play during a buddy's wedding a couple weeks ago. Tons of fun! I encourage technology use during weddings.
Thats the kicker, what will your wife/gf say.
I had to tell my fiance (an RU grad) that we could not schedule our wedding on a gameday. She definitely didn't like that football was the first priority, but I was adamant that I would not be "that guy" that has his wedding on a gameday.
With that said, its Austin Peay... just enjoy the wedding and watch the replay on ESPN3 when you get home. You know we are going to win, so you just want to see how we look. You can do that anytime.
If you must express yourself during the game make certain the only word you use is yes. That way they may think you are just enthused about the wedding. Don't say yes however when the precher asks if anyone knows of why the marraige shoud not take place.
For the love of God, can the person who is downvoting every one of my posts man the fuck up and comment so I know what unholy act I have commited to have you follow me around on the internet like a damned child?
Somebody has been downvoting random posts. I noticed that a number of my posts recently there is just a random downvote. Nobody voices that they have a problem with them, just 1 random downvote. It doesn't just seem me and you either.
I have definitely pulled the ear bud trick at my cousins wedding also.
I did this a few years back for the marshall game at my wife's cousin's wedding, I got a few looks, but I didn't care because I didn't really know anybody. lol
