They let their honor court oversee rape accusations. Thats right one the most heinous crimes that can be committed seen by people that have no business doing so
Students and a former UNC-Chapel Hill administrator have filed a federal complaint that claims the university violated the rights of sexual-assault victims and broke the law.
NCAA- "Nothing to see here move along"
Just another example of the "Carolina Way"
Well, in fairness, the NCAA has absolutely no purview in this matter nor should it.
Or, do as Notre Dame (nothing at all) does until the victim comits suicide and the player starts all thru his senior season.
As long as regular students get the same benefits, then they won't care if football or basketball players were involved.
Ridiculous. They should change their mascot to a jellyfish cus it really seems like not a single person affiliated with the place has any sort of backbone.

There was an SVU episode about a school that did something similar. It made no sense on TV and it makes even less sense in real life. Keeping a student's record clean for drinking underage is very different than doing the same for sexual assault. The whole situation is disgusting.
These so called "honor" courts are more like kangaroo courts. UNC is trash and everyone associated with that U should feel ashamed that they are.
The UV "honor" court is a joke too. They only have one sanction and it is hardly ever applied accoding to one of my hoo friends appeared before said court. They had him dead to rights cheating, but he walked. Fellow students are gunshy to kick someone out of school, and since that is their only sanction, this happens more often than not.
