How are they looking? Will Motley stay at QB or move to safety? I remeber some saying he could be really good there. Also I haven't heard much on Irick. And Adam Taraschke was my sleeper OL pick from last class. Lastly is Cequan Jefferson good to go grade wise? I remember there being talk that it would be close for him and then haven't heard anything since. TIA
Still waiting on Cequan.
Motley I believe wants to stay at QB through the spring. I think he needs to change before spring to safety.
Agreed. He has Leal in front of him, and by the time he is gone, Bucky and Carlis will be ahead of him.He is a great athlete, and needs to be at S.
They should share how kam is doing in the nfl with him
Motley should move to safety becuase
1. He's better at safety.
2. Safety is very thin anyway... Bonner, Jarrett, and Frye are the only schlorship guys besides true freshman recruits...
3. He wont start untill Logan Thomas, Mark Leal are gone at least... With Bucky, Carlis, and a 2014 recruit coming in... I dont think he will ever start if he plays QB.
By the way you said that you heard hes a better safety....That is true my Sophmore year of HS Motley was a senior and my coaches raved about how he was a great safety and said he was a good QB. It seemed like they implied he had enough skills to be a good QB in HS but not in college...

Truth. Brenden was an absolute stud on defense in high school. Complete game changer.
Yeah absolutely. I agree he should move to safety. From what I gather reading on here people close to that high school said he could be a game changer in the secondary. He's already big enough as I believe he is up to 220
yeah their was no question he was better at safety in HS i never played against him as a sophmore becuase he was hurt when he was going to play blacksburg...... Their is no question he should move to safety...

With the Cole injury, you have to think the Coaches are considering the Motley move.
of course like i said frye, bonner, jarrett are the only schlorship safeties besides walk-ons and incoming freshman
I don't see any reason why he would not be able to compete for a starting job at free safety this season, if he changes position for the spring.
Motley should follow the Kam Chancelor move and see how that turned out for him...big NFL paycheck.
Motley was always a better athlete than QB. Everyday he waits to convert is another day lost. This was obvious the day he signed
Lets find a way to get him on the field! Soon he will be recruited over for the safety slot
