Succeeds or fails?
Not sure he will get the chance. Rumors are he may be traded before the season starts. This deal made him ALOT more trade-able.
No QB has a chance in Philly until they getter better on the O-Line......Their O-Line was ALMOST as bad as VT's last year.
It'll be a lot better next year once every gets off IR. Peters, Herimans, Kelce come off IR, then Mathis was solid last year. Its a good OL if everyone is healthy. People tend to forget but when Castillo was still OL coach, the unit was very strong. He went to the defensive side of the ball and it all went to hell. OL coach is a very underrated coaching position.
I don't think MV could survive another year playing behind last years o-line. I'm serious.
I always thought Vick would initially be amazing, with his legs, and over time transition to more or a pocket passer. His time away from football kind of took away too much of that transition time. I'm not sure he still can do it.
Of course he could go the Randall Cunningham route. Get a receiver like Randy Moss and revive your career and become an All Pro.
And my favorite Cunningham play was a game winner to Moss of about 52 yards for the TD. Moss was asked what play they ran. He said, we didn't run any play, Randall just said go long Randy. Everybody laughed and someone said seriously, what play was it? Randy, said I told you Randall just said go long Randy!
Awesome story. Always liked Moss. He makes me shake my head, but I like him.
Philadelphia Ducks! Can't wait.
Thinking Vick thrives in Chip Kelly's system, could be the most suited offense Vick has played in sense VT.
