Already Haha! Last time we played it was a good game.
After last night I am sure you would like to play right away. Bama looked very good last night. And that might be understating it.
Yup I hope we can stay in the game for at least 3 qts...
Hopefully we can give you a better game than Notre Dame. I believe in our kids, and if we can get our offense some good coaching it could be interesting.
Wish McCarron would just go ahead and go to the NFL though, hah.
We have a couple of things to iron out before playing bama......
Depends if we start on offense or defense first.
God have mercy on us. Also please bring lots of bourbon, last game I found myself drinking Jack out of the bottle with some great Bama fans.
Who are the best fans to drink with?
Bama fans were great down in ATL. I was surprised. I figured they would be unbearable, but probably had the most fun with that fanbase than any other I can recall...
I've had fun w/ most of the sec fans to be honest. (LSU, Bama, UT) I'd say Georgia was the worst but I probably got a bad bunch and the way we lost that game didnt help.
Nebraska fans were pretty awesome as well.
Not to be negative nancy, but I'd say USC-W were the worst.
Texas AM or Nebraska for me. Both great fan bases that are not shy about putting away some alcohol!
McCarron is the least of our worries.
I hope all of your OL leaves, that was impressive. Your RB's are very good but that OL was/is special on another level.
I only hope our new OC has time to get us to a point we can go out and compete, I have zero doubt that we will be better in 13 than ND was this year (if Logan Stays), ND was an above average team that caught some really good breaks and played good honest hard nosed football, but when they got in front of a truly elite team they got smoked. Our D will be very good next year, but Saban and crew having 8 months to prepare scares me to death...maybe our new OC will make it a bit more difficult, and I have NO doubt Bud will have his guys ready, and they will be ready after this crap ass season.
I would say LSU, A&M, and Clemson have been my favorite.
LSU & Bama from what ive experienced. LSU fans were the most welcoming/gracious hosts ive been around.
Bama was fun because I was expecting them to be absurd, but they werent.\
As "STI" posted, UGA fans were the worst ive been around...
We will be just fine in the game as long as all 22 starters on offense and defense leave for the NFL and Saban retires, and their bus breaks down on the way to the stadium.

Game? What game? Last time I checked we were playing Emory and Henry. Must be a snafu in my tube thingy.

Second that thought. They ranked right there with the folks in Lincoln, NE who IMO were the best away fans I've encountered. Looking forward to Atlanta next season.
I can still hear those UGA fans "barking" at me after the game in Atlanta... Most of them wouldn't even converse, they would just do their best impression of a dog in your face. Luckily, I got to see a UGA fan get absolutely clocked in the nose by a VT fan, poor guy went straight to the ground bleeding, but you have to know you can't get in everyone's face, sooner or later it is bound to happen.
I will never pull for UGA after that game, ever.

Yea we will have 2 of the 5 left if Fluker goes early. Yep those 5 Lineman were some of the best assembled i think i have ever seen. Their Size alone was impressive to see. They backed it up with good play. I will miss them. Our center and RT will be the positions to watch in the spring and who fills those in. Our other Guard spot vacated by Warmack has some solid back ups that will fill in nicely(but to replace a player like Warmack is no easy task if not impossible That man is a monster#65). We also lost our TE he was more of a blocking threat than a receiving. We have talent at TE and i think they will be used more in our O next year. Our WRs are Stacked to say the least.we didnt lose anyone from the corps. We get White and Black back from Injury who were probably our best WRs before they went down. We lose Lacy at RB more than likely but yall saw what we have in Yeldon. It also helps to have the Country's all time record holder for rushing yards coming in in the spring.
and to summarize our D it should be better. Secondary will be the spot again that will replace the most important players but we have some strong talent stepping in. LB and DL should be strong again. With no Big loses that cant be absorbed.

Hey Crimson, I used to raise $$$ for Greek housing at Alabama. Had a great time working with Tide alumni...very loyal. My co-workers and I all wanted UA projects because of the overwhelming support.
Here's what I loved the most about the national championship game....
Up 28 points and five minutes away from another national championship, your QB and Center are fighting; Saban is chewing out a ref! Love the unmatched fire your program has. Roll damn Tide! Looking forward to the tailgating in ATL with you all.
"Don't f*** with the truth. Be the truth. Always." - Patrice O'Neal -
That's the good news.
The bad news is none of that is going to save you when a properly coached up Hokie squad of pipe laying brothers kick open the doors to the Georgia Dome, saunter onto the gridiron and proceed to kick your asses up and down the field on national television.
We made our rep by beating Miami teams that had more NFL talent than your team has now. Back then our kids had no fear, and the Hokie heart was strong. With new offensive coaching blood coming in, it's Time to get back to it.
The tide has turned.
