Its going to be a transition year for our offense. We are going to rely heavily on our defense for wins.
Logan fits what Loeffler wants to do under center. He can take drops and still see the defense. He can throw it over the line, which opens up quick hitters in the middle.
Leal is different, more of a Tahj Boyd type. Gunslinger mentality, but probably works better out of the gun.
I think we can win as many as 10 games with Logan. I'm not sure what we'll get out of Leal, I think he will be good but I'm not sure if he will be good enough to go 3-1 against UNC, Pitt, Miami, and GT.
Hearing positive things here in Lynchburg...
questions becomes, assuming Leal leaves if Logan stays, would we prefer 1 year of LT or 2 years of Leal. I would take the 2 years personally.....either way we have no backup next year.
I want one year of Logan with a real QB coach.
I have seen so many contradictory reports online in the past 24 hours, I truly think it is as close to a 50/50 guess as there can be for anyone not 100% in the know.
That being said, my new prediction is he stays at VT to start on his Masters and quits football altogether. You heard it here first...and last.
