Small crowd, inexplicable QB rotation, went from 4th and one for tying TD to lose by 24, 37-13, and lost Morgan Moses to a knee injury late in the game. I don't know if ESPN showed the Hoo's male baton twirler. For those familiar with Papagator, he claims the word in Hampton is Watford could transfer, which is no surprise given the depth chart.
ESPN also did a nice expose on the UVa glee club and the gay blade musketeer guy and his horse. They highlighted the best Uva has to offer, and now the hoos will land every 5 star in the nation tomorrow..... There were like 12 people in the upperdeck for a nationally televised night game on ESPN. Great fans...
and they showed the Jefferson dweebs. Definitely shored up their standings with 5* nerds and geeks
12 people made it in the upper deck? I guess UNC really is their true rival....
Welcome to the Terror Dome, baby! Welcome to the Terror Dome!
Watford should transfer. He'll likely never play another down as next year another QB will emerge. I personally think the most talented QB at UVA right now isn't Simms, its Lambert. He's the one Hokies should hope transfers.
Not sure what game you were watching, I thought they showed just like I was hoping for!
Always a bonus when you get two shots of the Glee Club!
I've watched probably a total of 3 minutes of UVa football, what is the purpose of the QB rotation? Rotations are stupid any way, but if you have a scrambling type then it makes some sense, but Rocco and Sims both seem to be pocket passers? Is London trying to be Steve Spurrier?
What are your thoughts on the Male Baton Twirler?
Forgot to mention one of the other "highlight" moments for the hoos last night.
Did everyone gets as big a kick out of Coach Dream not looking as his team went for it on 4th down.
I have been that fan that can't look, but a head football coach at the D1 level? Seriously, that might have been one of the weirdest things I have ever witnessed even from London.
I have no idea how he determines who plays when. Last night Sims leads a long TD drive, Rocco throws a PIC 6 on the first play of the next series, and then the Dream comes back with Rocco.
Sims also throws the perfect long pass that Jennings should have walked in for a TD and drops instead, Rocco back in next series.
No wonder those guys play with such little confidence.
The drop was devastating for the Hoos, but what about the reactions? Dream throws himself on the ground in agony or disgust, while Sims remains cool as he comes to the sideline.
