Not that I'm one to follow recruits as I don't have a twitter and he is the only one I'm a friend of on FB, but Manning doesn't seem to be too happy living in Virginia.
Is there anything to worry about here?
What are his complaints? Weather?
If so, who can blame him? Blacksburg sucks in the winter. He'll feel better when the weather is nice and the girls come out from hibernation. Then he will make friends with the new 2012 recruiting class when they come in the summer. Not something I'm going to worry about now.
Also, lets not forget he has the best DB coach in the college football and he is going to get legitimate playing time his true freshmen year. That is enough to make you feel better about being away from home.
Yes there is a little to worry about. If we can get into next season I think we will be fine though.
He doesn't interact with his mother, misses his friends, and lives 720 miles away from his girlfriend.
Said he "hates" living in Virginia.
Did you hear Hoo got arrested? Thomas Jefferson would be proud!
THE ONLY THING I'M ADDICTED TO IS WINNING--CHARLIE SHEEN
I fully realize everyone is different, but...
1. Get on the phone and call your mom then. Hell, skype her.
2. Make new friends, this is college...you have 100 teammates and thousands of other kids to meet now.
3. Its college, get a new girlfriend!!!! (better yet, dont have one at all). The HS sweetheart thing rarely works with distance and going off to college.
