Hope this kid doesn't have the same fate as me. I was a monster in 7th and 8th grade. But now I'm 26 and EXACTLY the same size, only slower and less athletic. I didn't grow at all after middle school.

I find it hard to believe that he's the proper age for 8th grade. The kid looks like he has a mustache growing. Is this a Danny Almonte situation?

Consider yourself lucky my man. I did not start growing until the end of my Junior year. I was 5' 2" until the Summer before my Senior year. High school sucked balls!!!!

No offense to recruiting analysts but nothing about this kids tape impressed me except that someone with a 18 year olds body can dominate 14 year olds. Be interesting to see how he turns out but right now its just a big kid beating little kids.

Well he was invited to alabamas junior day and received an offer. So id say they probably see something there...

Yeah. We don't know if thats based on the assumption he'll keep growing or because of what he can do now against 18 year olds. I was just commenting that based on his film there is nothing special there.

Just dawned on me, he was 14 after his 7th grade, will be 19 upon graduation from HS.

The article also shows that his dad has been working with him on the typical football camp measurables, 40 time, broad jump, and vert jump.

Likely, he's been redshirted by his dad for athletic advantage.

Another Todd Marinovich?

Heard about this yesterday of Pardon the Interruption and I agree 100% with Wilbon (never thought id say that) but this is ridiculous. NCAA football has no shame. The kid isnt even in high school, let him be a freakin kid for a little while. Looks and sounds a lot like his dad is getting him ready for the NFL combine at 14, wonder what his test scores look like in school. I hope the kid does well and gets into any college he wants, but lets wait to crown him the next whoever until his nuts finish dropping.
