We arent in the top 2 (Bama and Florida) but it sounds like were one of only two schools along with Penn State that has a chance at swaying him away from those two...

CZY, JC etc.......what happened with JAllen ? I realize he seems headed out of state, but did something happen in his recruitment to get us started off on the wrong foot??

Well i think we offered a little late,and from what ive heard the kid has just been waiting on the Bama offer the whole time. It is somewhat promising that we are in his top 4,wasnt expecting that.

His size would seem to translate very well to a DE in Bud's scheme that focuses on speed and quickness. I don't know if Bama normally plays 240lb as OLB in their scheme. I am sure he is athletic enough to play at Bama but they will have the next Upshaw to compete against for PT there, who has NFL size at OLB.
I said the same thing about Kirven as a DT here vs DE there and he still chose the Bamers tho.
