Your local media was out of the loop when Mr. Weaver hired Seth, when UVA hired Tony Bennett, and they're out of the loop again. They're telling you that Lutz is in the picture, your drinking pal Willard gets a chuckle out of that. Tis a big night. Very big. If things go well, we'll rock this baby to sleep. If not, on to baby #2. Headed back to the pub. Cheers.

I've heard a rumor that Alford from New Mexico may be in the picture. Can anyone else confirm? That doesn't seem practical to me as he signed a huge contract extension last year (10 years). I would assume the buy out would be expensive and I also don't know where he's had any connections with the ACC (from Indiana) so I don't know why he'd have any interest in VT.

Jay Wright's name keeps popping up in the blogosphere...... I dismissed at first. However, don't Wright and Weaver have a relationship from way back. UNLV, maybe??? It would be easy for them to keep discussions under the radar since they know each other. There probably would not be the normal formalities and intermediaries. Makes it easy to keep under wraps.
It looks like Wright's contract is up after the '12-'13 season. Maybe he is not feeling loved at 'Nova. Factor in a the Big East instability........
Ahh, this is crazy talk....we are going to end up with Coach Bobby Finster from Teen Wolf.
