Hokies Taylor eager to get back to work | The News & Advance

Virginia Tech senior linebacker Bruce Taylor returned to the practice field for the first time in more than nine months Tuesday. He was a bit rusty, but that was OK. It actually helped him better appreciate what he was missing.

In addition to info about the position changes of various DBs, I thought the comment below was worthy of notice:
"It was interesting to see that defensive end J.R. Collins worked with the second-team defense, while Corey Marshall worked with the first-team unit. This could be the case for any number of reasons. Perhaps defensive line coach Charley Wiles wanted to reward Marshall’s effort the past couple of days, or perhaps he wanted to send a message to Collins. We’ll keep an eye on this in the coming days.
Regardless, the Hokies possess a lot of depth on the defensive line and lose little with Marshall at end. Zack McCray, also an end, got a lot of reps at tackle during the team period (offensive vs. defense) next to Kris Harley on the second-team unit. His versatility is going to come in handy down the road."

does anyone know clowney's chances to make the team? was a bit surprised that morgan seemed to be with second team. btw, it's not updated with last night's games but this site offers a great consolidated list of hokies and their status/stats.

I don't know but the Bills looked like hot garbage last night against my skins, I would think Clowney has a good chance to make that squad.
