Jamion Moss is the second commit from North Carolina for Virginia Tech in the 2013 class.
Virginia Tech picked up commitment No. 12 on Friday afternoon when three-star linebacker Jamieon Moss (Elizabeth City, N.C./Northeastern) committed to the Hokies.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder previously was committed to East Carolina. He was recruited to Virginia Tech by assistant coach Charley Wiles.
Moss is the second verbal commitment in this class from the Tar Heel State, joining quarterback Carlis Parker.
Moss is the nation’s No. 73 outside linebacker prospect and the No. 35 overall prospect in the state of North Carolina according to 247Sports. He is rated three stars with an overall grade of 83.
