Virginia Tech commit Holland Fisher took in his first Hokies game at Lane Stadium on Monday night. Fisher will visit Alabama officially on the weekend of Sept. 28 and Virginia Tech on the weekend of Oct. 12.

You noticed that too, huh? ;-) I've yet to see a VT recruit decommit from VT after publicly using words like "we", "us" and "our" when talking about the program.

I don't know. This seems to be a personal project for Saban, which worries me more than some. Kid is for real and hope he stays with us. Go Hokies.

I have ZERO worries with Holland Fisher. He already refers to Hokie Nation as US. He has Hokie Football in his soul and even Saban can't change that. This young man is one of US.

Loudoun Hokie makes me feel better. Good points. But just to be safe I'm gonna rent a van, buy some coveralls and a ski mask. All you guys need to do is let me know when the official to BAMA is.

“It’s a challenge playing a triple option team,” Fisher said. “I felt like they did well to hold them to around 300 yards of offense. I felt the safeties and the linebackers (Fisher projects at one of those two positions) did a good job of forcing everything to the inside. I think that was the difference and what allowed US to win the game in the fourth quarter and in overtime.”
